裡面說大部分的男人不容易找到真愛，如果想說可以靠自己的改變，讓自己變成另外一個"Mr.Right for everywoman"，往往就失去了自己。Will Smith扮演的就是這樣一個"Date Consultant"，他教你愛情戰術，安排約會時完美的第一印象，但並不是每個人都幫。

Eva Mendes是一個八卦小報的記者SARA，偶爾遇到了Hitch，卻發現他的"professional"跟他自己的私生活有相當的衝突。這是一部怎麼教人把妹的電影，劇情分作兩條線，一條是Hitch要幫其貌不揚的好人Albert搞定 Allergra Cole愛例規，而他也做到了。另外一條則是Hitch要幫自己找到一條出路，感情的出路。

很好玩的是，就像是我們對顧問的認知，Data Consultant也是以旁觀者的角度看的時候才特別清楚。Hitch在大學時期的一次不愉快經驗（Will演的還真矬啊），讓他變成了戀愛顧問，也幫Albert把到了Allegra Cole，而他在面對「真愛」的時候，他的招數似乎都沒有用了。

這部電影值得認真看的地方只有開頭那段口白，其他的部分就笑笑看看就好了，不用太深入去討論，這樣看電影比較有趣。

Basic Principles -

no woman wakes up saying "God, I hope I don't get swept off my feet today!"

Now, she might say "This is a really bad time for me," or something like "I just need some space," or my personal favorite "I'm really into my career right now." You believe that? Neither does she. You know why?

'Cause she's lying to you, that's why. You understand me? Lying!

It's not a bad time for her. She doesn't need any space. And she may be into her career, but what she's really saying is "Uh, get away from me now," or possibly

"Try harder, stupid," but which one is it? 60% of all human communication is nonverbal, body language; 30% is your tone, so that means 90% of what you're saying ain't coming out of your mouth.

Of course she's going to lie to you! She's a nice person! She doesn't want to hurt your feelings! What else she going to say? She doesn't even know you... yet.

Luckily, the fact is that just like the rest of us, even a beautiful woman doesn't know what she wants until she sees it, and that's where I come in.

My job is to open her eyes. Basic Principles - no matter what, no matter when, no matter who... any man has a chance to sweep any woman off her feet; he just needs the right broom.
